When we, the Bagheris, journeyed from Teheran to Singapore it wasn’t merely to set up a carpet shop called the Orientalist. It was to offer the region its largest carpet gallery with an unrivalled range and variety. But that’s not all.

From generation to generation our family has woven an intricate tapestry of our own.

For over 50 years we’ve been building tightly knit relationships with master weavers and renowned workshops not just in Persia but also throughout every major carpet region. Because of this we’re able to offer unquestionable authenticity, value for money and unrivalled choice throughout the region. The truth is, we travel to the far-flung corners to acquire carpets directly from the place they’re made.
